Create Store

Rechnungen is a small tool to geht your invoicing done…

Rechnungen is build for "creatives" - if you sell products or need to write dozens of invoices a day this small is nothing for you.

If your jobs and clienst are as special and individual like your skills and you need a very flexible app to get your invoicing done - then this small app may be something for you…

Of course you have to write/claculate a little bit more than with other apps - but Rechnungen will never tell you what do claculate/invoice - you're free to do what ever you want - not what the applications will tell you :-)

1. Create Store

First you have to create a store and of course you dan#t have to use all fields or yo can change them…

At the moment there is only one template (I know - I know :-0) - so if you need a custom or help - please drop me a note - we will find a solution…

Invoicing

2. Write your Invoices

Just click the 'New-Button' to add a new Invoice. The app is build to write delete, change verey Invoice - even old ones…

If you/your client needs a list of all services you can add them in the 'Entries-View'

If need you can create a list for each store (yes you can have multiple stores) with all your services you offer and you can store notes/informations to each invoice

Rechnungen will not calculate for you!
What the f… - Rechnung will not calculate for me? YES!
All other apps for invoicing are telling me what I have to invoice if I have invoices job A + job B and job C - but I want to decide :-0

So you can do/calculate/invoice/write what ever you want or you think your work is worth it - or maybe client A has to pay much more than client B…

3. Store your Quotes/Dunnings/Letters

If needed you can add your quotes and letters to each store (incl. notes) - so you can always find your quotes within seconds without opening Word et cetera…

And yes - at the moment there is also only one template - so feel free to drop me a note…

Database and Backup

Please backup your data often!

Rechnungen is available in two different versions…

Rechnungen[normal] stores its data like every other OS X application in your Library/Application Support Folder…

The database is based on XML - so you can migrate to other (Web) Solutions…

Rechnungen[portable]

If you own the portable/network version all your data ist stored inside the application itself. The portable/network version can rum from every thumb-drive, extern drive or even in your network and so you cann access your data from all your macs or even via VPN from all ower the world…

BUT!!! - if you delete the app, all your data is gone - so please lock it and remenber this if an update is available!

Templates?

I know that only one template is not really a fast-seller :-(

My goal is always to create verey simple and easy to use applications and of course very fast one - all I tried to do this togehter with custom templates did not work very well and the only app i Know that does this well is Billings (http://www.billings2.com/) - and of course Billings is a great app - but it does not fit my needs and so I started with my own solution :-)

As long as I do not find a great solution to handle custom templates withing the app - feel free to drop me a note - we will find a solution…
