The philosophy of myTexts is to allow you to focus on the text, the words and not to waste time thinking about formatting. Thus, everything you will save/export is without any style/formatting by default but you are free to apply a custom font and size (available in Preferences) for exported documents…
Import text/documents
1. Create a new entry
2. Import any .txt/.rtf/.rtfd/.doc/.schreiben document
Data | Database | Single Files | Backup | Sync

1. If enabled all you texts will automatically be saved in the background
2. If enabled myTexts will perform a complete backup of your database at startup
· in case of errors or mistakes you can revert at any time (Menu > myTexts Data > Restore)
3. All entries are automatically saved (and auto-saved) as single text files
· Working with a database is really fine - but (and there is always a but, isn't it?) in case of an error all entries are gone – that is why myTexts additionally stores all your entries as single text files by default
4. Enable if you want to store your database, your text files on your iDisk/Dropbox, on a thumb drive, extern HDD etc.
5. Please ensure that this path/folder is accessible and writable
6. Enable if you want to store your backup on your iDisk/Dropbox, on a thumb drive, extern HDD etc.
