Basics

This help is not written to explain the very basics in using a Mac and Mac OS X and working with applications in general.

If you do not know how to work with windows and text, how to copy and paste text, how to use use the Finder, what the heck Preferences are etc. - please use one (or all) of the following links. All the basic tasks are the same - no matter if you are using MailBoy, Write, Mail.app, TextEdit or any other native Cocoa application.

Common and default tasks when working with MailBoy are opening messages in Mail.app. or previewing them.


How to open a message in Mail.app

Select desired message
(A) Use Menu > File > Open Message
(B) Double click table view
(C) Simply hit return

How to preview a message

Select desired message
(A) Use Menu > File > Preview Message
(B) Simply hit space
